Directions | This hose is intended for normal lawn and garden use, and light commercial use only. Before using, place the washer firmly into the coupling at the faucet end to ensue a tight seal. We recommend that you run water through the hose until it is cool before use. Drain your hose when you are not using it and keep it shaded as much as possible. Water left in a hose in the sun will expand, damaging the hose. Protect your hose from harsh winter weather by storing it indoors. Be sure to drain the hose completely before storage as water remaining in the hose can freeze, damaging the hose. Hose Should Be Prepped as Follows: 1. Remove packaging, uncoil hose and straighten to full length. 2. Attach hose coupling to faucet, then attach nozzle to remaining hose coupling. 3. Turn faucet for full water flow. 4. Release any trapped air with nozzle. 5. Straighten hose completely to remove any twists. 6. Turn off water and release pressure at nozzle. 7. Coil hose as usual. |
Warnings | Do not run hot water through this hose. Do not leave the hose under pressure when it is not in use. Heat or pressure may damage your hose, and could cause it to leak or burst. This hose contains chemical(s), including lead, known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm. Do not drink from this hose. Wash hands after use. The inside of a hose is dark, damp and warm, conditions which may cause bacteria to form. Also, garden hoses are typically used with, or come into contact with, products such as spray nozzles, pesticides and other lawn and garden products that may contain harmful chemicals. |
